“I am inspired by our capacity for well-being and ascribe to the belief that we can have an amazing life by changing our minds about our blocks to health and love. My interests are in spiritual, mental and physical well-being and I continue to be curious, studying those fields that contribute to those experiences of wellness.”

Doris Ryan has been in the helping profession for over 30 years.  She has worked as a rehabilitation practitioner, a psychiatric researcher at the University of Alberta Hospital, and as a rehabilitation therapist prior to becoming a Registered Psychologist in Alberta in 1994.

Doris works with adult individuals and helps them to successfully manage their emotional, psychological, interpersonal, and spiritual difficulties.

Her areas of specialty are treating abuse and critical incident trauma and their aftereffects, which include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and relationship issues. Though she has specialized in marital and couples therapy, she currently only works with adult individuals.  Doris uses a variety of methods, including mind-body therapies, to find healing and resolution for her clients.
